About this boat

FLORAMYE / FP ALEGRIA 67 EXPAND YOUR HORIZONS If sailing is an art form, the Alegria 67 is clearly its instrument. Designed to break free of all limits and conventions, she has enjoyed well-deserved success, courtesy of her myriad creature comforts, carefully selected for those who want to explore further afield. With a waterline length of over 20 metres, it’s only logical that the Alegria 67 should include the quality of equipment and features worthy of this boat’s status as a true yacht. UNIQUE DESIGN While her many spaces can all be fully opened for remarkable connectivity, there is still outstanding access when they are closed. The inner saloon has a door providing direct access to the forward cockpit when you which to serve up a snack from the galley. A practical and convenient solution to suit all conditions. While boasting an abundance of space and volume, she remains a sailing yacht at heart. The two helm stations on either side of her expansive flybridge are a reminder of this, and, with her performance rig, the Alegria 67 is undeniably a Fountaine Pajot

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit. Operator terms: All vessels covered with Kasko deductible franchises, Compulsory Passenger Insurance, and Compulsory Third Party Insurance. Personal property not covered.
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. This boat's ~170 HP engines burn roughly 13.6 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 286 L ≈ €535 at €1.87/L — scale it to your own plans. Many skippers run one engine on passage to roughly halve fuel use — ask your operator if that’s fine for your boat.
Do I need a sailing licence in Croatia?
At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.
Can I bring my pet onboard?
Pets such as dogs, cats or birds are only allowed with our prior written consent, so please ask us before your trip so we can confirm.
Will my sailing experience be checked before departure?
We may ask you to demonstrate your competency by handling the yacht with our representative present. If we feel you may not be able to safely command the vessel, we will arrange a skipper for you (charged per our price list).
Are there limits on where I can sail?
If you wish to sail outside Croatian territorial waters you must tell us in writing at least 45 days before your charter so we can arrange an additional vessel, and those extra costs are charged to you. Please also plan your route so that two days before return you are within about 40 nautical miles of the home port.
What should I do in bad weather?
Please do not leave port if the forecast wind exceeds 25 knots or if the port authorities have prohibited departure. In gale-force conditions, let us know your exact location so we can assist you.
Is night sailing or racing allowed?
Sailing at night and taking part in regattas or races both require our prior written consent. Please also avoid towing situations and arrange a rescue fee before accepting any towing assistance.
When is the best time to sail in Croatia?
May–October, with the most reliable maestral winds and warm seas in June–September; July–August are the hottest and busiest.
