Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise.
Do I need a sailing licence in Turkey?
Not personally — a skipper is included with this boat and holds the licence. Generally, though: No licence is required by Turkish law, but charter companies require proof of competence such as an ICC or RYA Day Skipper certificate.
Will the crew cook for us?
Yes, a cooking service is included in the charter price, so you don't need to arrange meal preparation yourselves.
Is the crew included in the price?
Yes, the price covers the crew's wages as well as the hire of the yacht and its equipment.
