Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: Leaving the boat anchored with nobody on board, in a roadstead or unprotected waters without paying a mooring fee, is excluded from the boat insurance coverage.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~75 HP engine burns roughly 6 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 126 L ≈ €215 at €1.71/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not personally — this boat requires a skipper, who holds the licence. Generally, though: A recognised sailing licence is required, with an ICC typically requested for non-Spanish skippers chartering a bareboat.

Unfortunately not. Animals may not be carried on board during the charter.

Yes. The boat can't be sublet and can't take part in regattas or sporting competitions unless we agree it in advance. Smoking inside the cabin is not allowed, and no illegal substances may be brought aboard.

If the skipper decides it is wise to head into port because of adverse weather, the port costs are yours to cover. Bad weather is not accepted as a reason for returning the boat late.

Let us know and we will arrange repairs with local providers as quickly as possible. If the repair takes more than 24 hours, we will offer a similar boat, or refund the unused time proportionally if that is not possible.

Late returns are charged at €180 per hour, unless a later hand-over was agreed with us beforehand.
