Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: All yachts are insured for hull, machinery, equipment and third-party liability. The insurance does not cover sails, dinghy, outboard engines, personal belongings or accidents affecting charterers.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~58 HP engines burn roughly 4.6 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 97 L ≈ €189 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not personally — this boat requires a skipper, who holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

Pets are not allowed unless you get our written consent before you board. Please ask us ahead of time so we can confirm in writing.

Night sailing is not permitted, meaning from 30 minutes before sunset to 30 minutes after sunrise. Single-handed sailing is not allowed, and you shouldn't anchor in water deeper than 15 meters.

Please don't leave port if the forecast wind exceeds 25 knots or the port authorities prohibit departure. In severe weather, tell our base manager where you are. Weather doesn't excuse a late return, so plan to be about 40 NM from the base two days before the charter ends.

On a bareboat charter you need a certified skipper and an experienced crew member, both over 18. We may ask your skipper to demonstrate navigation and boat-handling skills with our representative, and that time counts as charter time. If the skill level isn't sufficient, we may require a professional skipper at your expense.

Any delay beyond 3 hours is charged at double the daily charter price, plus any costs from not being able to hand the boat to the next guests. If you need more time, tell us right away so we can arrange it if available.
