About this boat

IMPORTANT: Before confirming any booking with a skipper, the exact number of guests on board must be provided for approval. Fins, masks, and snorkels are not kept on board. They must be requested from the dock staff before departure and are subject to availability. High-speed Wi-Fi is available on board as an optional extra via STARLINK, subject to availability. In the event that the “50% reduced security deposit” option is selected, and if a skipper from the charter company is on board, the security deposit is reduced to €1,500. In all other cases, the security deposit is reduced by half compared with the initial security deposit. This option is charged on a daily basis. Important: This reduction does not apply during special events (Tour des Yoles, regattas). The reduced security deposit is not an insurance policy covering the excess; it simply reduces the amount payable by the client in the event of damage. The “Fast Departure” option consists of a shortened check-in procedure of 45 minutes instead of 2.5 hours, thanks to a complete pre-check carried out in advance by our technicians. However, this expedited procedure requires clients to have a good knowledge of catamarans and sufficient sailing experience. If a hostess is on board, the provisioning option is available. If the number of passengers is fewer than 4, an additional share must be added to the quote.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit. You can lower the deposit by adding the operator’s damage waiver.
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~80 HP engine burns roughly 6.4 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 134 L ≈ €194 at €1.45/L — scale it to your own plans.
Do I need a sailing licence in United States?
Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: Requirements vary by state and operator; no national sailing licence exists, so charter companies rely on a detailed sailing résumé (some states require a boater education card).
When is the best time to sail in United States?
Varies widely by region; the Florida Keys and Caribbean coast run year-round, while New England and the Pacific Northwest peak June–September.
