Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The Owner insures the yacht and equipment under Greek law against fire, marine and collision risks and third-party damage, and against loss or damage in excess of the contractually agreed deductible.

Yes. The boat is for private pleasure use by you and your party only. Racing is not allowed unless we agree in writing, and you can't tow other craft except in an emergency or sublet the boat.

You must stay within the Hellenic seas. Please plan your route so you reach the farthest point from the return port within the first third of your charter, and are within 40 nautical miles of the return port two days before the end.

You shouldn't leave a port or anchorage if the wind is or is forecast to be over force 6 on the Beaufort scale, or if the harbour authorities ban sailing. The same applies if there is any doubt about the safety of the boat or crew.

Your party must include at least one qualified skipper and one experienced crew member. We may ask you to show your competence on a short sail with us aboard, and if you don't satisfy us we can require a seaman at your cost or terminate the agreement.

Only people on your crew/passenger manifest may be aboard, up to the maximum in the boat's documents. Night sailing is allowed with at least two people on watch.
