You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit. Operator terms: Charterers are advised to obtain Travel Insurance and Skipper's Liability Insurance. Charter does not include Charterer's/Skipper's Liability Insurance, nor Cancellation and Curtailment Insurance.

Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

Yes. One crew member must show the Port Authority a valid skipper certificate, and a second experienced crew member must be declared as co-skipper with equivalent certification or a signed self-declaration of sailing experience. If we feel your sailing skills are insufficient, we may require you to hire a professional skipper.

We strongly recommend holding an ICC, as Greek port authorities often reject Day Skipper certificates and any certificate marked for daylight use only when the charter exceeds 24 hours. Allow plenty of time before your trip to obtain one if needed.

Yes, you can add a professional skipper at 190 euros per day or a hostess at 170 euros per day, both plus provisioning. A cook is also available on request. Crew costs are payable in cash at the base before embarkation.
