Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit. Operator terms: Charterer liable for all damages caused by Charterer's actions and failures, including third-party liability.

Fuel isn't included, and on a powerboat it's the biggest variable cost. At a typical planing cruise this boat's 500 HP engine burn roughly 75 L/h — about €140 an hour at €1.87/L. It depends heavily on speed: easing off the throttle cuts it sharply, running flat out raises it. Plan your fuel around the hours and speed you expect to cruise.

At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

You're asked to sail within Croatian territorial waters, and to sail only in safe weather with good visibility, taking care of the yacht as a good navigator would.

You may not sub-charter or lend the yacht to anyone else, take part in regattas or races, use it commercially, fish professionally or at night, or sail at night or in unsafe weather.

Pets such as dogs, cats, or birds aren't allowed on board unless you've agreed it with us beforehand.

Please return the yacht cleaned and tidied, without your crew and personal luggage, at the agreed marina. We recommend arriving the night before to allow time for the hand-over check, which takes about an hour.

A delay of up to three hours costs one day's charter fee, and a delay of more than three hours costs triple the daily fee plus any other expenses. Bad weather isn't accepted as a reason for a late return.

May–October, with the most reliable maestral winds and warm seas in June–September; July–August are the hottest and busiest.
