Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: Every vessel has comprehensive (hull) and mandatory insurance.

Fuel isn't included, and on a powerboat it's the biggest variable cost. Estimated from engine power: at a typical planing cruise this boat's 212 HP engine burns roughly 32 L/h — about €60 an hour at €1.87/L. It depends heavily on speed: easing off the throttle cuts it sharply, running flat out raises it. Plan your fuel around the hours and speed you expect to cruise.

At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

You must stay within the territorial waters of Croatia, and you need to follow customs and other regulations. Sailing outside them isn't permitted.

Yes, but only in safe weather conditions. We'd advise planning your route so you're in a safe harbour before dark.

Plan your route carefully, because if bad weather makes you late, you cover any costs this causes us. If you can't continue or a delay is unavoidable, call the owner for instructions. A delay is only excused in cases of force majeure, and you must tell us immediately.

For each delay of up to 3 hours, you pay the amount of one day's charter. Let us know right away if something outside your control is holding you up.

If we conclude that the person in charge doesn't have the necessary knowledge and skill, we can arrange a skipper, or the base manager will assign one for the whole charter. The skipper is an extra cost for you.
