Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The service price includes vessel insurance above the value of the agreed deposit, and personal insurance of the crew. Vessel, equipment and crew are covered for damage and loss claims above a franchise (excess) that depends on the type of service.

Fuel isn't included, and on a powerboat it's the biggest variable cost. Estimated from engine power: at a typical planing cruise this boat's 260 HP engine burns roughly 39 L/h — about €73 an hour at €1.87/L. It depends heavily on speed: easing off the throttle cuts it sharply, running flat out raises it. Plan your fuel around the hours and speed you expect to cruise.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

Yes. Night sailing, sailing in water shallower than 1.5 metres and lifting the engine out of the water are strictly forbidden. You also can't sublet or lend the boat, race it, or use it for commercial purposes or professional fishing.

You'll be sailing in Croatian territorial waters. Going beyond them needs our written consent before you confirm, and our rules also say leaving Croatia is strictly forbidden, so please check with us first.

You should sail only in safe weather conditions. If the boat can't be used for reasons that aren't your fault, you can request a refund for the unused days. We'll also try to offer a replacement boat of similar or better quality at the same price.

Tell us immediately, whatever the cause. We'll explain how the repair or replacement will be handled. Repairs or part replacements you arrange yourself without approval are at your own expense.

A late return costs three times the daily price for every started day of delay, plus any losses we incur. Delays caused by force majeure can be excused if you tell us right away.
