Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: Guests are not responsible for loss or damage to the boat during the charter unless it is caused by their negligence or by breaching the conduct policy.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~125 HP engines burn roughly 10 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 210 L ≈ €368 at €1.75/L — scale it to your own plans.

The captain can adapt or change the route and islands for weather, sea conditions or safety, and this does not give you a right to claim. If we have to cancel because of adverse weather or a technical safety problem, you get a 100% refund of what you paid, or you can move to new dates subject to availability.

No. The route and islands planned for each charter are not contractual, and the captain decides on any changes for safety and weather reasons. Fresh water and energy on board are limited too, so we ask you to use them sparingly.

Offensive or abusive behaviour, smoking inside the boat, excessive alcohol, drugs, and bringing weapons, explosives or fire risks such as irons, electric stoves, candles or incense are not allowed.

On shared boat reservations, cabins are allocated in doubles rather than individually. Places are filled in strict order of reservation.

Pregnant guests need a medical certificate showing they are healthy and fit to travel, and we can't accept anyone more than 24 weeks pregnant. Please bring all the medication you need, because it can't be bought in San Blas.
