About this boat

Wave 60 isn’t just a bigger catamaran—it’s the evolution of sailing, and you can evolve with it. As the younger, larger sister of Wave 50, she offers even more space, refinement, and freedom on the water. Designed to elevate every moment at sea, Wave 60 blends cutting-edge comfort with the spirit of true yachting. Inside, you’ll find two expansive owner’s suites and one additional guest cabin, each with its own private bathroom—perfectly tailored for up to six guests. A dedicated two-person crew enjoys their own separate quarters, ensuring the highest level of service and privacy. From her vast open living areas to her sleek lines and intelligent layout, Wave 60 is all about space without compromise. Whether you’re gathering with friends in the panoramic salon, retreating to the tranquility of your private cabin, or taking in the horizon from the wide foredeck, every detail invites you to slow down, breathe, and truly live the sea. Wave 60 is more than a yacht—it’s your invitation to step into the next chapter of sailing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this boat insured, and who pays for damage?
Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit. Operator terms: Charterer advised to obtain travel and health insurance
How much will fuel cost?
Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. This boat's ~220 HP engines burn roughly 17.6 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 370 L ≈ €574 at €1.55/L — scale it to your own plans. Many skippers run one engine on passage to roughly halve fuel use — ask your operator if that’s fine for your boat.
Do I need a sailing licence in Bahamas?
No mandatory national licence, but charter companies require a certified skipper and/or a sailing résumé demonstrating shallow-water and anchoring competence.
Do the crew cook and clean for us?
Our boats are crewed. The hostess keeps the common areas clean and prepares breakfast and a light, simple lunch, while the skipper handles the sailing. For three meals a day or special cuisine you can add a professional chef at extra cost.
What are the rules on board?
No smoking inside the yacht and no loud music after 22:00. Everyone should be fit and responsible while sailing, and the crew may limit alcohol if it becomes a safety risk. The captain can ask any guest behaving aggressively or inappropriately to leave at the nearest port without a refund.
Can we bring pets?
Pets are allowed only with our prior approval, and extra cleaning and ozone-treatment fees apply. Please ask us before booking.
Do we need to cover anything for the crew?
Yes, guests are expected to cover the crew's daily meal expenses as part of the charter experience, along with marina and park fees where the yacht docks. Any gratuity is entirely at your discretion.
Where do we board?
The primary boarding location is Marina di Olbia in Sardinia. In exceptional cases boarding may move to another nearby marina for operational reasons, and we'll let you know in advance so you can approve the change.
