Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit. Operator terms: Each vessel has hull insurance (kasko) and mandatory passenger insurance. Insurance conditions determined by insurer.

Fuel isn't included, and on a powerboat it's the biggest variable cost. At a typical planing cruise this boat's 150 HP engine burn roughly 23 L/h — about €43 an hour at €1.87/L. It depends heavily on speed: easing off the throttle cuts it sharply, running flat out raises it. Plan your fuel around the hours and speed you expect to cruise.

At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

Please return the boat to the agreed place and time, fully equipped, in good working order and clean, with the fuel and water tanks filled, just as it was handed to you.

For a late return of up to 3 hours you'll be charged one day's hire. Beyond 3 hours the charge is triple the daily hire plus any extra costs we incur, such as covering the next guests. Delays are only excused in cases of force majeure, which you must report to us immediately.

Call the base manager for instructions. If a delay is caused by bad weather, the resulting costs are yours, so plan your route safely with time to spare.

Yes, we can provide the boat with a skipper. Note that a security deposit still applies even when you sail with our skipper.
