Ladder Bay, Saba

Ladder Bay sits on the leeward west side of Saba, tucked beneath dramatic volcanic cliffs as part of the Saba National Marine Park's designated anchorage zone stretching to Wells Bay. Drop the hook here and you're right at the base of the historic Ladder — 800 stone steps carved into the hillside that once served as the island's only access point before roads existed. It's a humbling spot, with the island rising sharply above you and remarkably clear water below.
