Luka Rukavac

Rukavac is the largest and best-protected bay on the southeastern coast of Vis, tucked between the capes of Polivalo and Gnjila with a small islet shielding it from the south — drop anchor here and you've got serious natural shelter. It's a quiet, pretty spot, once purely a fishing village and now a low-key tourist settlement about 10 km from Vis town, so you'll find a handful of restaurants and a relaxed local scene ashore.
