Lunt Harbor
Lunt Harbor sits on the northwest corner of Long Island (also called Outer Long Island) in Frenchboro, Maine, seven miles offshore from Bass Harbor — one of the most remote and genuinely unspoiled communities on the Maine coast. You anchor off here and can dinghy in to explore the only permanent settlement on the island, where grabbing fresh lobster is pretty much the main event. Note that Lunt's dock has storm damage, so treat it accordingly.
