Uvala Portoruša

Portoruša Bay is a quietly beautiful anchorage tucked into the island of Šćedro, where you drop the hook in around 5 metres and run lines ashore. The island itself is largely uninhabited and forested, giving the whole place a genuinely away-from-it-all feel. If you're up for a short detour, nearby Grapčeva Cave on Hvar is a Neolithic and Bronze Age site worth poking around.
