Uvala Vela Smokova

Vela Smokova is a sandy beach tucked into a secluded bay on the south-eastern shore of Vis, once military land — which is exactly why it's stayed so beautifully undeveloped. You'll need to anchor off and swim or dinghy ashore, so it stays quieter than the spots with easier access. The bay opens to the levante and can get choppy in southerly winds, so keep an eye on conditions before you settle in.
