Velo Žalo is the southernmost beach in the Komiža area, only reachable by sea — drop anchor and swim ashore to a large gravel-and-sand beach fed by natural freshwater springs. It's quiet, unspoiled, and feels genuinely off the beaten track. The water is shallow enough to suit young kids, and the springs keep things refreshingly cool even in peak summer.
