Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise.

Fuel isn't included, and on a powerboat it's the biggest variable cost. Estimated from engine power: at a typical planing cruise this boat's 350 HP engine burns roughly 53 L/h — about €99 an hour at €1.87/L. It depends heavily on speed: easing off the throttle cuts it sharply, running flat out raises it. Plan your fuel around the hours and speed you expect to cruise.

Not if you add a skipper — this boat offers one, who holds the licence. Generally, though: At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

We ask for 50% within 2 days of your booking confirmation, and the remaining 50% at least 15 days before your charter starts. You can pay in cash (EUR), by bank transfer or by credit card, and the sender covers any bank transfer fees. You can only take over the boat once all payments have been made.

The price covers the use of the boat and its equipment. Port and marina berths, harbor and mooring fees in other ports, and port taxes or other taxes during your charter are extra. Extras and additional costs are calculated separately.

Small differences between the boat's actual equipment and the equipment or inventory lists we sent don't entitle you to a price reduction. Obvious calculation errors in a quote can also be corrected according to our valid price list and terms.
