Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The owner insures the yacht and equipment against fire, marine and collision risks, third party damage and other loss or damage. The charterer is relieved of liability covered by the policy, unless the loss is caused or contributed to by gross negligence or willful default.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~76 HP engine burns roughly 6.1 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 128 L ≈ €250 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.

No. Towing other craft is allowed only in an emergency, and subletting needs the operator's written consent. The yacht is for the private pleasure of you and the people on your crew/passenger list.

For safety, you must not leave a port or anchorage if the wind is or is forecast to exceed Beaufort 6, or if the harbor authorities ban sailing. Stay put until conditions improve, and reduce sail promptly if you're caught out in strong winds.

You must stay within the Greek seas. You also need to plan your route so you reach your farthest port within the first third of your charter. Two days before the end, you must be within 40 nautical miles of the return base.

Your party must include at least one qualified skipper and one experienced crew member. We may ask you to show your handling and navigation skills at sea with one of our people aboard. If we're not satisfied, we may place a skipper aboard at your expense, if one is available, or end the charter.

Contact us before arranging any repair, because we need to approve it. Repairs for normal wear are refunded against your receipts. If there's an accident or damage, ask the nearest port authority to record it in writing and tell us at once. If a tow is unavoidable, agree the price with the other captain first.
