Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~40 HP engine burns roughly 3.2 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 67 L ≈ €131 at €1.95/L — scale it to your own plans.

Not personally — this boat requires a skipper, who holds the licence. Generally, though: Two crew with proof of competence are required — a skipper holding an ICC or national equivalent and a co-skipper who signs a declaration of sailing experience.

We usually sail the Saronic and Argolic gulfs close to Athens, where distances are shorter and winds are milder. In a week we visit most of Aegina, Poros, Methana, Epidavros, Angistri and Moni, and Hydra, Dokos, Spetses and Porto Heli when the weather allows.

Yes, weather permitting. The Cyclades work best on a 2-week trip, since a single week is better spent in the gulfs near Athens.

The boat has 3 double cabins and 2 bathrooms and takes up to 6 guests. It is most comfortable with 4 guests in 2 cabins and the skipper in the third. With 6 guests, the skipper sleeps in the salon.

Possibly, if you show a valid sailing licence and strong sailing experience, preferably in Greek waters. Otherwise we sail with our skipper-guide, whose daily fee depends on the season.

Food and drinks are not included in the boat price. On-board catering averages about 200 EUR for 4 guests and the skipper. Dinners are not covered, so please plan to provide dinner for the skipper.
