Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. You're only responsible for damage it doesn't cover, and that's capped at the security deposit. Operator terms: Yacht covered with Kasko deductible franchises up to deposit amount. Damages from third parties covered.

Fuel isn't included, and on a powerboat it's the biggest variable cost. At a typical planing cruise this boat's 110 HP engine burn roughly 17 L/h — about €32 an hour at €1.87/L. It depends heavily on speed: easing off the throttle cuts it sharply, running flat out raises it. Plan your fuel around the hours and speed you expect to cruise.

At least one crew member must hold a recognised sailing licence (ICC or national equivalent) plus a VHF/SRC radio operator certificate, both checked on arrival.

You may sail only within Croatian territorial waters and in safe weather up to force 6 with good visibility. Racing or regattas and towing other vessels are not permitted without our written approval, except in an emergency.

You may carry no more than the number designated for the vessel, and only people listed on the crew list are allowed on board.

We may ask the skipper to demonstrate their competence at sea with our representative present. If skills or experience fall short, we will provide an official skipper for an extra charge.
