Affiliates and every yacht charter agent on charter.boats are paid the same way: by bank transfer, once a month, by the 10th, for every charter completed the month before. Before the first payment we need two things from you, set once at My Settings, Payouts: your bank account and a signed tax form.
When commission becomes payable
Commission on a booking is pending until the charter has taken place and the booking is marked completed. From then on it is payable, and it is paid in the next monthly run: a charter that ends in June is paid by 10 July. If a booking is cancelled or refunded, its commission is cancelled with it, as set out in the Terms of Service, section 12.
Agents see where each booking stands on the Agent Dashboard. The Overview tiles show Pending (charters not finished yet), Payable (completed and waiting for the next payment) and Paid. Set up your bank account
Open the menu behind your picture, go to My Settings and click Payouts. Under Bank account, choose your Payout Currency (EUR or USD), then fill in Account Holder with your full legal name, your IBAN, SWIFT / BIC, Bank Name and Country. Click Save payout details.
Agents can also get there from the Agent Dashboard: the Payout details card in its settings has an Add payout details button, which reads Manage payout details once your bank account is saved. Affiliates find the same card in My Settings, Referrals.
These details belong to you, not to one programme. If you are both an affiliate and an agent, you file them once and receive one payment for both.
Upload your tax form
The Tax form section on the same Payouts page reads: Required before your first commission payout. Upload a signed PDF. Which form you need depends on who you are: a W-9 if you are a US citizen or resident, a W-8BEN if you are an individual outside the US, and a W-8BEN-E if you are a company or other entity outside the US.
Pick the Form Type, choose your PDF File and click Upload tax form. The status then reads Submitted, pending review, and changes to Approved once we have checked it, or Rejected if something is missing, in which case upload a corrected form. The Payout details card on the Agent Dashboard and on the Referrals page shows the same status, or No tax form on file yet when there is none.
What you see after a payment
The Payouts page lists your Recent commissions. On the Agent Dashboard, a paid commission moves from Payable to Paid.
Stripe payouts are coming. Until then every payment goes by bank transfer, and we will tell you when you can connect a Stripe account.
