You order extras for the base from your booking page: click Request extras at the base, tick what you want, and click Send to operator. The charter company gets your list so it is ready when you arrive, and confirms availability and price with you directly. We charge nothing for these extras; you settle them with the charter company at the base, on their terms.
The button shows only when the boat has optional extras that are paid at the base, such as a paddle board or a set of linens, depending on what the charter company offers. Extras that are required, or charged online, are already in your price; see Fees & Pricing.
How to send your extras list
- Open My Bookings from your account menu and click the booking.
- Click Request extras at the base. A box opens: Extras at the base, with the boat's optional extras and their listed prices.
- Tick each extra you want.
- Click Send to operator. The box says Sent to the operator and the date, and that they will confirm availability and price with you directly.
Not sure yet? Click Save for later instead. Your ticks are kept, and the booking page reads not sent yet until you send them.
How to change the list
On the booking page, the extras line now reads how many you asked for and sent to the operator. Click Review extras, then Change list, change your ticks and send again. Close leaves it as it is.
What the price will be
The prices in the list are the charter company's listed prices. They are not fixed until you settle them with the charter company, who may change them before then. If a price matters to you, ask before you sail; see How do I ask the boat owner a question?.
If the booking is cancelled, the extras section goes away with it.
