Yes — every boat on charter.boats is insured by its operator; we require it. The policy covers the vessel for fire, collision and third-party liability. For damage it doesn't cover, your liability is usually limited to the security deposit, except where the operator's terms say otherwise. Operator terms: The owner guarantees that the vessel, passengers and crew are insured according to Croatian law.

Fuel isn't included — you return the tank full. Estimated from engine power: this boat's ~725 HP engine burns roughly 58 L/h while motoring, so a typical week (about 3 h a day, ~21 h) works out to roughly 1218 L ≈ €2278 at €1.87/L — scale it to your own plans.

Navigation is limited to daylight, so no sailing before sunrise or after sunset. Cruising time averages about four hours a day, though the Captain may agree to more at his discretion.

Personal watercraft can only be used in areas the Captain approves, by drivers with a valid licence who have shown their skills. The Captain can stop anyone from using water sports equipment if they are not competent or are being careless.

The Captain stays in charge of safety and does not have to follow orders that would take the boat somewhere unsafe or stop it being returned on time. We also don't guarantee comfort in bad weather.

Tell the Captain straight away and give written notice if you want to claim under the breakdown terms. If the boat is out of use for an extended period through no fault of yours, you get a pro rata refund or, if we agree, an extension.
